The help lines and break programs that apply at Caesars Windsor are Ontario's. This page lists each one with its number or address and what it does.

Phone, text and chat
ConnexOntario takes calls at 1-866-531-2600 at any hour, every day of the week. The call costs nothing, and what is said stays private. Callers who would rather type can text CONNEX to 247247 or open a chat at connexontario.ca.
In a crisis, the number to call or text is 988, the Suicide Crisis Helpline. It also answers at any hour of the day or night. Both lines are numbers to keep in a phone before the trip.
A break from every Ontario casino
My PlayBreak is OLG's self-exclusion program. A casino break runs for 3 or 6 months, or for 1 to 5 years. It bars entry to every Ontario casino, Caesars Windsor included. The term is fixed: once chosen, it cannot be changed. A self-excluded person also cannot attend the outlets at Caesars Windsor.
There are three ways to enrol: by phoning 1-800-387-0098, the OLG Support Centre; by asking a staff member at a casino; or by going in person to a PlaySmart Centre.
Online opt-out and PlaySmart
iGaming Ontario runs BetGuard (betguard.ca). With it, anyone 19 or older can exclude themselves from all regulated Ontario online gambling sites in one step, OLG.ca, the government-run online casino, included. Available terms are 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or a custom length. Casinos that people walk into fall outside its reach, so Caesars Windsor is not covered.
PlaySmart, at playsmart.ca, is OLG's responsible-gambling site. PlaySmart Centres operate at OLG casinos in partnership with the Responsible Gambling Council.
A number set at home
This is general advice, not a fact about Caesars Windsor. Every casino game has a house edge, so over time players as a group lose more than they win. A spending limit is easier to keep when it is set at home, before the trip across the river. A number picked at the table is harder to hold to.
