About the Crossing Desk
This independent guide covers Caesars Windsor and is aimed at visitors crossing over from Detroit. Its editorial desk, the Crossing Desk, signs the content, and the guide accepts no bets and does not open accounts.

One desk, no byline
The Crossing Desk is the editorial desk that writes and signs this guide. No author is named. The guide is not Caesars Windsor, not Caesars Entertainment and not OLG.
Those two run the casino: Caesars Entertainment operates it on behalf of OLG, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. This site takes no bets and opens no accounts.
Checked, and left out
Facts in this guide were checked in October 2026. The sources were the casino's own pages, the regional tourism board, OLG, the AGCO, iGaming Ontario and ConnexOntario. Local news was used for the tunnel bus and the garage. Distances from towns such as LaSalle or Leamington are straight lines between OpenStreetMap points, and roads are longer.
Some things are left out on purpose. Border documents are one: the Canada Border Services Agency sets the rules for entering Canada, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection sets them for entering the United States. Fares, prices and show dates do not appear either. For the Colosseum, the schedule is on the casino's own website.
Paid links on the home page
Paid links appear on the home page alone, each labelled Ad. They sit in three spots: a menu button, a block under the first screen and a block close to the end. Every one points to a single private online casino partner that pays the guide a commission. This partner goes unnamed here and may be swapped. The guide makes no promise about it, and any site can be checked in the iGO directory at igamingontario.ca.
Generated scenes
The pictures on this site are generated scenes, made for the guide with an image generator. None of them shows a person or a sign. No picture is a photograph of the casino building, so they should not be read as views of the venue.
What the site keeps
No accounts, forms or ad trackers exist on this site. Readers may choose a light or dark display, and the setting lasts only for the open browser tab; once that tab is closed, it is gone.
